Bismillah. Assalamu alaikum. People are always learning about each other even after being married for 20+ years. So, despite knowing that it's almost impossible to judge someone by the few words that they write about themselves, I'll just try my best to give a brief idea about me. I'm 31 (turning 32 in Feb 2018 inshaAllah). Born and raised in UAE, originally from Pakistan, but have very limited exposure to Pakistani culture. I was given divorce after 3 months of marriage due to incompatibility and Islamic differences. I don't have any children, but I'm an aunt to 4 nephews and 5 nieces, alhamdulillah. Assalamu alaikum. I'll keep it brief. Responsible towards family's basic needs (emotional, time, financial) and able to respect commitment. Someone who is trying to adhere to Islam as best as they can. Kind, understanding and slow to anger. Forgiving as Allah loves those who do good. Someone humane enough to understand that we all have shortcomings and we all need forgiveness. I prefer someone who is able to provide a simple home for his wife to nurture and avoids the unhealthy arrangement of living with the in-laws.
