I am consistently studying and learning more about Islam. I look things up rather than blindly follow. I am very serious about my religion and try my best to please Allah.

Assalamualaikum, I am a newer Muslim since 9/2023. I strive to continuously learn about my religion and become a better person and Muslim. I have 3 children. One is in college and 2 teen boys at home. I am unable to have more children due to medical complications. I would love to but I can’t. I am open to having step children and would love to adopt if I can find someone open to that. I have raised my kids alone for 13 years. I live alone with them and always have. I just finished nursing school last year, Alhamdulillah and am in a job I enjoy. Life has been falling into place and I am ready for the next step of marriage. I like to be consistently learning. Right now I am doing islamic studies and trying to learn Arabic.
Describe your ideal spouse
Someone who is serious about their Deen, in actions not just words. Someone humble and kind. I need someone who can be a leader and take on the responsibility of the household. This means leading and being an example to the family in worldly and religious affairs. I am still learning so I would prefer someone pretty knowledgeable about their religion. I like someone who can joke and laugh and have fun. Life is too short to be serious and boring all the time. I am NOT open to polygamy, it is not for me and never will be. Someone with children is probably best since I am unable to have more. I do not care about ethnicity or family background. Contrary to popular belief, your family doesn’t always define you. Mine isn’t great but I’m trying to be better than that for my kids. Attractiveness is more about personality for me.
