Bismillah. A little about me, written honestly rather than to impress. I'm originally Egyptian and I've been living in Lyon, France for the past few years, working as a software engineer. I've been in tech for around eight years, mostly building and maintaining systems behind the scenes. I enjoy the work, but it isn't the center of my life. My deen is. I keep my five prayers, spend time with the Quran daily, and I benefit a lot from Islamic lectures and reminders. I'm not going to claim to be perfect in my practice, but it's something I'm genuinely working on and want to keep growing in, ideally alongside someone who wants the same. Outside of that, I like to stay active: the gym, climbing, and swimming. I'm also improving my French, which is humbling in a useful way. And I have a soft spot for gaming and a good film with friends. What I'm looking for is marriage in the proper sense: a partner to build a home with, to help each other toward Jannah, to raise children on the deen inshaAllah, and to be a comfort to each other.
