Write an introductory description about yourself exclusively for your future spouse?
I am a servant of Allah before anything else. If you are reading this as my future wife, then know that I am a man who is trying — sincerely but imperfectly — to live upon the Qur’an and the Sunnah according to the understanding of the Salaf al-Ṣāliḥ. I am not claiming righteousness; I am claiming struggle. My goal in life is not fame, wealth, or social applause, but to stand before Allah with a heart that tried to be truthful. I value ‘aqīdah above culture. The methodology of the Salaf is not a label for me — it is a compass. I believe in holding firmly to Tawḥīd, loving the Companions, respecting the scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah, and avoiding innovations in religion. I want a home built upon knowledge, modesty, haya’, and discipline — not chaos, trends, or emotional instability. I am naturally reflective and serious. I think deeply about history, statecraft, power, and the rise and fall of civilizations — but I judge all of it through the lens of revelation. I admire strength, but moral strength more than physical strength. I believe a man must lead with responsibility, not ego; with protection, not control; with justice, not harshness. Because of life’s tests, I have learned patience. Hardship has shaped me more than comfort has. I do not promise luxury, but I promise loyalty. I do not promise perfection, but I promise effort. I want to build something that survives fitan — a marriage that is a fortress of Tawḥīd and sakīnah. I want you to be my companion in Jannah before you are my companion in this world. I hope you love knowledge. I hope you love modesty. I hope you value obedience to Allah over personal pride. I hope you see marriage not as romance alone, but as a joint mission toward Jannah. If you are Salafiyyah in creed, gentle in character, strong in principles, and sincere in your worship — then perhaps we are walking toward the same destination. May Allah write what is best for both of us.
