The perfect husband does not exist, I do not want someone who thinks he is. My ideal spouse will treat me with respect, kindness and understanding. I will be his Queen and he will be my King. He must fulfill all his religious obligations as a spouse and as a Muslim, for the sake of our Maker, not to show off to others. He must enjoy spending time with me and must be proud to call me his wife. He must accept my son as part of me and treat the rest of my family as he would his own. I would love him to have a sense of humour, but not be boastful. Lastly, he must accept that I am a modern Muslimah with traditional values.
